He is the conceptual creator and artistic director of the Global Street Dance Masquerade an ongoing,site-specific presentation of thematic full-body masquerade suits. Rashad’s performance works and collaborations have been presented at: the Institute for Contemporary Art Los Angeles, SFMOMA, the Museum of the African Diaspora (MoAD), Yerba Buena Center for The Arts (YBCA)The Berkeley Art Museum, The Strand & ACT Theater San Francisco, SOMArts Cultural Center, Dance Mission Theater, The Luggage Store Gallery SF, Tenderloin National Forest, ReedCollege, Kauffman UCLA, and Museum of Dance Santa Fe New Mexico.
